Well done John and David for your words to help celebrate the life of Alec...I learned a few things from John that I didn’t know about Uncle Alec. But I just can’t get the picture of Alec’s water bags out of my mind! Our thoughts are with you Aunty Ann...and to all in the wider Thorburn clan. A sad day to be sure but Uncle Alec would want us to keep looking on the bright side. Hopefully, we can all gather for a brighter occasion in the near future. Love from Jamie & Louise

A beautiful service, loved hearing from Uncle John and David. You will forever have a shining light watching over you. Thankyou for the memories Uncle Alec especially growing up and holidaying in Wingham in the school holidays. First stop in Wingham was always Bent st before heading to Granny’s. Wonderful memories to cherish. To all my Thorburn family here on the East coast and on the West coast, sending all our love from my family to yours.
