Lunch at a winery... Steve looks so well behaved and polished... so this was before we went back to the house and he started playing Kevin Bloody Wilson lol Once again, like father, like son... lol. Drew, Steve and Winks on a very special birthday trip for Drew... this was after Steve made one of his infamous speeches lol... bless him. The whole fam bam at Drew’s 50th birthday in NZ in 2019. This was the very first time Steve and Winks came to visit Drew, Jackson and I in Australia... we enjoyed an interesting’ dinner in Kingston. This is how I saw the boys’ together, many, many times during our visits to NZ... like father, like son... Another sneaky lunch for Mr Taylor... was he ever at work?? We all know the answer to that question! Mr Taylor and Drew in Greytown.

Hi Steve, you were a legend in the DLS fraternity, and a great mentor for me. A knowledgeable, humble person, with a fantastic sense of humour. An all-round nice guy, whose stories and legacy will remain forever a part of the NZDF and the history of Defence Legal Services. Thoughts are with your family over this time. Roz

One of the best men I’ve ever known in my life. Love to all the Taylor family and extended family/ friends. This world will never be the same without this wonderful man and I was one of the lucky ones to have had you in mine. RIP Mr Steve Taylor. ❤️

The first time we met, Burnham Military Camp, I said you looked just like my Dad, John Arawa Schoch.
Stand at ease, Stand Easy, we will take it from here.
The Schoch genes are strong in your family.
